Minutes and Circulation, Service, and Financial Reports:
Bruce Johnson moved, and Sharon Huether seconded the motion to approve the minutes from the June meeting. All in favor. Motion carried. Bruce Johnson moved, and Sharon Huether seconded the motion to approve the Circulation, Service, and Financial reports for June & July. All in favor. Motion carried.
Unfinished Business:
Director Moore informed the board that all the final paperwork is finished for the 501(c)3.
New Business:
The Fallon County Library Board of Trustees will be doing 3 hours of training this year to meet new Standards set by the Montana State Library. Today following the meeting, they will watch a webinar on Everyday Advocacy: Why the Library Matters!
Director Updates:
Director Moore gave updates on Summer Reading Program, Hotspots, and other happenings at the library. We also received word that we have been given Excellence in Library Services Award from the Montana State Library.
Project Updates:
Newspapers are digitized through 2016 and loaded to the Montana Newspapers website. We are waiting for more issues to be filmed and after the Montana Memory Project has moved all content to the new site, we will be adding more years.
Yearbooks are digitized through 2007.
Genealogy project is finished.
Announcements:
Closures – Monday, September 5, 2022, for Labor Day & Monday, October 10, 2022, for Columbus Day.

October 11, 2022, at 12:00 PM in the Fallon County Library Basement/EOC.
